Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, the world's greatest waterfall, was formed about 14,000 years ago when retreating glaciers exposed escarpment, redirecting Lake Erie's waters north into Lake Ontario. It is split in two by Goat Island, where the west channel is the Canadian Falls and the east channel is the American Falls. However, the U.S.-Canada border runs through the middle of the Niagara River.

I have visited Niagara Falls at least three times in my lifetime. First as a youngster with my family, secondly as an adult with my husband, and then on a final trip with my daughter. During every trip, I enjoyed visiting the wax museums: Louis Tussaud's Waxworks or Movieland Wax Museum. They both display wax figures of celebrities and characters from classic horror film scenes. During our last visit, we stayed at a hotel directly in front of the waterfalls. The view from our window is exactly what is portrayed in the puzzle.
